Carpetmaster was established in 1969 by Martin Lightbown. Over the years we have become recognised as the market leaders in cleaning carpets, rugs, upholstery and curtains in Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire. We will even go further afield for some contracts.

Providing a more personal service, we will clean everything from a bedsit to an office block, domestic or commercial property.

Utilising the latest in modern, technological equipment, we use a Truck Mount Carpet Cleaning System. The Truck Mount is based in our van; therefore it does not use the customer's own electricity. It works by creating steam to break up the dirt. 

Taking all of the soiled water and bacteria out of your house and back into our van, it leaves the air in your house clean and fresh. The machine itself is ten times more powerful than the portable machines used by most other carpet cleaning firms, yet is also very gentle when cleaning fine tapestries and rugs, etc. Furthermore, our Truck Mount contains it's own water softener, which will leave your carpets softer and cleaner.
